Dominique Kelley

Dominique Kelley, a standout leader on the University of Nebraska’s top women’s basketball team, has made significant strides as a teacher and head girls' basketball coach at Lincoln High School. Honored as the 2021 Dr. Barbara Hibner Mentor of the Year, Kelley is also deeply committed to social justice issues. At Nebraska, she started 109 consecutive games and led the team to a perfect regular season in 2010. After earning a degree in broadcasting and a master’s in education administration, she transitioned from coaching at Drake to Lincoln High, guiding the team to the 2023 state finals. In October 2023, Kelley became CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Lincoln/Lancaster County.
